One Man’s trash,

is a Woman’s treasure.

Some practices I create by…

Organic materials

Things found in nature such as sticks and stones and even components on your plate. Pomegranate juice and ground cinnamon are some of the many ways I add rich colors and texture.

Second hand supplies

Many of my pieces are built around thrifted items found at local rehoming stores and even more specified second hand craft shops.

Gutter finds

Weekly walks in my neighborhood give me the opportunity to gather what some might deem as garbage. These small and large scraps can be transformed into so many different things.

Graphite & ink

Pencils and black ink always.

Unlikely suspects

A kitchen whisk, hair clips, an empty sack of oranges, wire, a nail file, false lashes….

Cardboard & brown paper bags

Cardboard adds a lot of texture and dimension to pieces and works well with capturing brown skin tones.
